Sr. Application Engineer

Job Description

• Develop CNC programs, routings, and manufacturing processes in collaboration with the Tooling Engineer.
• Optimize production for cost, setup time, cycle time, tool life, capacity constraints, and human effort.
• Ensure manufacturing processes align with product design and meet acceptance criteria.
• Document and summarize the manufacturing process design.
• Validate manufacturing processes in coordination with Machine Shop Job Setters and the Tooling Engineer.
• Oversee machining of the first piece for new processes, ensuring quality and design standards.
• Review and approve process design output documentation and results.
• Train Machine Shop Job Setters and Operators on validated processes.
• Provide support for troubleshooting production issues and propose improvements related to setup, tool performance, and process consistency.
• At least 10 years of hands-on machining experience, with a minimum of 7 years on a 5-axis machine.
• Proficiency in Mastercam 2025 is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; a Technical Diploma/Certificate is also acceptable.
• Knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
